Comcast Email Limit Exceeded

While sending batch emails comcast started kicking them back. Then sent an email stating that

Comcast Email Limit Exceeded.

I am using a business exchange account.

Did not exceed 1000 per hour.

Did not exceed 100 addresses per email.

The attchment was 97kb.

We have sent our email blasts many times so I know how it works.

I spent about almost two hours on the phone with comcast business help and got NO usable information.

We are using Apple mail to access the comcast business email account.

I wanted to varify settings such as the port number or whether ti use SSL but they had no idea.

So I was wondering if there are any screenshots of how to set up an exchange account in Mac mail v8 anywhere

on these comcast websites?

Thanks.

Tom5000,

Since I've upgraded all systems to El Capitan, Mail version 8, I can not verify every minor detail. My experience is that Apple Mail will happily configure itself for Outlook by selecting Exchange and entering your credentials.  This screen shot shows greyed out values which means they were auto-configured.

While you are logged in to your Comcast business account, visit https://businessclass.comcast.net/Secure/ManageServices/ViewDNSSetting/?page=Email for server dns names.

Hi!

So I have been experiencing the EXACT same issue as Tom has.

Tom have you come up with a solid solution for this yet?  I currently can't send ANY email marketing blasts out right now and it's really effecting our small business.  Please let me know, I'd appreciate it, thanks!

We became fed up with the pathetic "business" email limits. So we are investigating various paid email services.

I will never use the comcast exchange email agian.
