Coax Connection Heat up

This is the second time I have had this problem. Every six to nine months time I feel that my Coax connection to the modem gets heated. This creates high attentuation (db Loss) on the signal and I start to loose internet service. It comes and goes depending time of day. Finally Comcast came and measured the db loss and found out there was connector issues. So far this is holding on and i will wait another six months if this problem is fixed.
