Circuit/Routing Issues
For 3 weeks we have had slow response times, poor voice quality (over VOIP) and other connection issues. These issues occur at all times of day when any number of users are on the network. I hired two independent IT Network engineers to run extensive tests on our network over a 6 hour timeframe and they were able to validate these issues using their diagnostics testing.
Their results show that we had 15.9% packet loss with a latency/jitter of 40ms to one Comcast IP. To another Comcast IP, the results were 14.6% packet loss and 40ms of latency/jitter. Also, our signal is going from Comcast Illinois to Comcast California in order to reach Amazon's Data center in Virginia. This seems odd to me (and to the engineer)
I have charts from the network analysis to back this up if someone at Comcast wants to look. I called this morning and they cannot send a tech out until tomorrow, but to me this looks like more than a tech visit to the office.
Has anyone else been experiencing anything like this?
