Canon Image Runner problem

We have a Canon Image Runner installed on our network.  It has suddenly run into an issue with both printing and scanning.  The Canon Repairman says there are two schemes, one with an address beginning 192... which is functional and allows us to print to the machine.  The other points to and address of 10.1.... which is supposed to allow us to scan and email.  He cannot connect to this address.  This began suddenly yesterday morning.  One person was able to scan and send, the next could not.

Please advise what to do.
