Cannot get new firewall to connect to Comcast internet

We are in the process of changing firewalls (from SonicWall to Fortinet) and cannot get the new firewall to communicate with the internet. Not sure if we are missing something in the firewall settings or if the new firewall needs to be registered with Comcast in order to work. We're able to get the new firewall to work on another ISP but not on Comcast via our Comcast modem.

Thanks for reaching out to our Support Forum, Broman. Do you have a public Static IP provided by Comcast to manage your network?

Are you setting up the Firewall with the usable static IP?

I'm trying to use the same IP addresses that are stored in the SonicWall. Our WAN IP ends with .x1 while the static route IP ends with .x2. Since you asked this question I'm assuming that the Fortinet firewall does not need to be registered but rather we have a setting(s) that are not correct.

Do you mind sending me a private message with your full name and the number listed on the account? I'd like to take a further look at your connections.
