business seems like its just a reason to charge more for less connectivity

I had business grade 100+ put in last week and it is ridiculous. We have 29 items hooked up, the man on the phone said 50 items should run no problem. We have 4 game systems, 4 laptops, 17 cell phones, 2 ipads, and 2 tablets. Right now at this eact moment we are running 1 ipad, 9 cell phones, 3 game systems, 3 laptops, and we are either lagging or getting kicked out.

why am i paying $182 for interenet if it cant keep up any better than the $140 residential internet actually worse. Business comcast is actually costing me money. This is what 100+ gets you with brand new connections and comcast modem for business straight from the box.

highest download 12.57 highest upload 10.27

I mean seriously I try calling and get transferred repeatedly.

Have you tested these speeds while directly connected to the modem? If not, definitely give that a go to see if there is any difference. Also head over to one of these addresses and pull us your signal levels..  http://192.168.100.1 or http://10.0.0.1 or http://10.1.10.1/.

I can not hook everything up to the modem which defeats the purpose anyways, I need the wifi. I have a strong signal but this has gotten ridiculous. None of those links will even open for me, they tell me the web page is not available most likely because my speed is so slow. Right now I have 1 laptop, 12 phones half of which can not load, and 2 game systems playing netflix. This is todays speed

this is just sad. it has cost me more money switching to business comcast from residential with the same speed but no data cap. I can't justify paying another 40-50 dollars a month if this can't even run half way decent. constantly getting kicked off when multiple devices arent even on.

with only the 2 windows the wireless is only letting me open, yet even more money lost....I am soo angry right now.

I am past dissappointed in comcast business. It ended up taking me 9 phonecalls, grand total of over 2 hours on hold, well over 20 transfers, 4 disconnects, 4 transfers to a disconnected number, etc just to upgrade to the 100+ for this mess. couldnt get my account number because you cant create a sign on without it, nobody would give it to me, and no paperwork with it until friday when i had a tech out and could finally set up my account . Someone has definitely dropped the ball. how is comcast business still in business.

Hi seeindollars2.  I apologize for the the issue you've encountered with your Comcast Business Service.  Currently there is a service  call scheduled to address the speed issues and resolve any Comcast equipment related service issues.

Thank You

see in dollars, you need to understand what your never going to see 100Mbt down over a wifi network.  I don't work for Comcast but I work in the industry for a living, and even with the top grade wireless N routers in the industry (not even using the comcast wifi gear at all - in fact I have a non-wifi comcast modem)I can't fully saturate my OWN 100Mbt Comcast connection.  However if I pulg in Ethernet to a SINGLE pc I have NO problems flooding it.

wifi is intended for people to be able to lay on the couch in front of the TV with their tablet or laptop and watch TV while they surf the web.  the idea of having multiple nodes all active at those speeds on a single transmitter is preposterous.  If your going to refuse to plug in an ethernet cable to the modem and a laptop and at least TEST the download speed then you are setting up an impossible situation.

Comcast cannot fix the inherent design deficiencies in the wifi standard.  If you think we should be seeing gigabit speeds over wifi then I encourage you to write to the FCC and tell them to allocate more radio spectrum.
