Business Router Help

Hi All,

I have a Comcast Business gateway that runs gigabit internet. It is supposed to feed into an Edge Router then to two switchboards that distribute the internet signal throughout the business to a bunch of ethernet ports (All Cat5E) and 4 new Unifi access points.

I am having trouble feeding the signal from the gateway into the Edge Router and switches to distribute the signal.

Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Thanks for visiting our Comcast Business Support Forums, SigEp.

Do you have a Static IP address you're using to delegate the internal network?

(IF YOU HAVE A STATIC, PLEASE DO NOT SHARE YOUR STATIC IP WHILE IN A PUBLIC POST)

Typically, if you have a firewall delegating your internal network, the firewall would be assigned the public static IP. The rest of your devices would be using whatever LAN DHCP address your firewall is assigning. If you have multiple devices delegating your internal network with different public static IP's, those access points may be giving out their own LAN addresses.

If you like, I can take a further look? Send me a private message with your first and last name, the address including the city, state and, zip and, the phone number that's registered to your Comcast Business Account.

Great question, I believe I do have a static IP. For example, all the Access Points would read 160.122.9.158? Is this what you mean, if so they read all the same IP's except the last 3 digits. Those are different for each Access Point.
