60-day cancellation notice for Business internet at my home, want to sign up for residential.

Looking to see if anyone has went through this before. i put my 60-day cancellation notice in as my 3-year business internet contract is coming to an end. Is it possible in the meantime to sign up for residential internet service at my same home location so i don't have any service interruptions? There is a good deal i'm eyeing, but don't know if I will have problems getting my equipment provisioned as technically i'm still on business internet at the same location the cable line coming into the house I assume is the same cable line that is used for residential service. The deal i'm looking at ends at the end of august I think for residential, and my business contract ends in october.

thanks.

No, trying to do this will confuse them.  But I wouldn't worry about it, didn't your mother ever teach you anything about shopping?

I think I was about 12 when I first came home and proudly showed my mom something I had bought for 50% off and what a good deal I got - she just laughed and said that the 50% off sale signs had been up in that store for the last 3 years...

By October they are going to have a new "deal".   Like the grocery store, the clothing store, the auto dealers, and most other retailers, Comcast sells residential service the old-fashioned way:  It's always "on sale"

It's the auto-renewals that will kill you.   They auto-renew at full price.   Of course if you call in and say to drop service they will drop the price to whatever the current "deal" is.  But their experience is most of their customers don't want to spend the time doing that.
