Comcast Business Internet customers can now enjoy the convenience of a private/secure WiFi connection for their employees as well as an Xfinity WiFi Hotspot for patrons and customers. The service is deployed on a new all-in-one D3 wireless device called the Wireless Business Gateway.
Setting up the Wireless Business Gateway for wireless communication provides Internet connectivity from any location within range of the Wireless Access Point. Additional information on the set up and configuration of the Business Wireless Gateway can be found here.
Note: Comcast Business Internet should be unaffected by the Business Public WiFi service. Your Business Private WiFi network, as well as Business Public WiFi, use shared spectrum, and as with any shared medium there can be some impact as more devices share WiFi.
Public WiFi is enabled on your device by default. To disable it, please call Business Customer Care at 1-800-391-3000.
