Disable my XFINITY WIFI

Question

please disable the xfinity wifi ssid. This was disabled before now it came back.

Please keep it OFF!

Nobody over phone customer support knows how to do this. They tell me to do this online and i dont even have the option.

If you are renting your modem you can buy one and return the rental and save a lot of money.  Unless you have a static IP then you have no reason you need to rent a modem.   Trying to keep the wifi off on a cisco BWG is like a game of wack-a-mole.
