Windows 10 VoiceEdge App Headset Mic Stops Working after 1 call

I'm currently on VoiceEdge version 1.38.0 and have been using the app consistently for the last 1.5 years without issue.

My problem started just this week. The app will let me make my first call without issue. But after that, the app will not activate the microphone on my headset on subsequent calls. I can still hear the other person through my headset, they just can't hear me because the mic becomes inactive.

Have tried everything I can think of (reinstalling the app, deleting/reinstalling my headset's drivers, turning off/on exclusive mode), but I cant get the windows 10 desktop app to work beyond the first call and that makes it useless to me for the time being.

Anybody with similar issue(s) or suggestions?
