unable to re-add user after being deleted

I was attempting to add a pre-existing user to a number in the Manager Dashboard. However, the account that I was looking for was not showing up to be able to do this. In the users section, the account was "unassigned". I deleted the account, to be able to create + add an account to the number through the manager dashboard. I was prevented from doing this because there is already an account with the existing email. Is there a way to restore/re-add the account? What was preventing me from assigning an unassigned user to the their new number?

I do want to thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to reach out through our Forums Channel. I am sorry to hear you have had some issues with the account. When you were removing the user did you deactivate the user or delete the information?

@Comcast_Dena  I first tried to deactivate -> reactivate the user ti be able to add. Then when that did not work, I deleted the user.

When deleting a user it should remove their MyAccount Information. Are you able to find that user on the Users homepage and select Activate under their name?

Thank you for looking into that for me. Are you able to Invite the user or is this where you get the error message? To invite the user follow these steps:

 

1. Sign in to My Account and select Users.

2. Select Add new user.

3. Enter the new user's information. Select Continue.

4. Select the user's Permission level from the dropdown. If necessary, choose a phone number to assign and turn the ability to manage additional locations On or Off (requires at least one linked account). Select Send Invite.
