set up line for calls to go directly to voicemail and not allow callers to leave messages

Hello Care Team,

Recently got our church account move over to Comcast Business Voice Edge.  One issue, I want one of our lines to have callers get the outgoing greeting message (both in English and Spanish) and they are not allowed to leave messages since no one will be checking it.  I followed the instructions to record and announce the name of the department which it did, and went on to record the outgoing message, which it did.  But at the end of the message, it also announced to the caller to leave a message.  Well, that's exactly what I do not want to happen.  I was working with a Comcast Business Enterprise Customer Support member but she was baffled too and recommended I call the Customer Care Team.  Is there a quick fix to this?  Thank you.

user_b6852e That is a new one for me as well but thank you so much for asking and I am more than happy to help see if we can get the option to leave a message disabled. I did have an idea if you could take a look at your Xfinity app from the App, and select the menu bar. Then, select My Phone under Voice. Select Voicemail from the bottom menu. Here you can control your voicemail storage settings, is there by chance an option in there to not store messages that may prevent the option to leave a message?
