Lunchtime Auto Attendant

Our office is closed from Noon to 1:00 each day for lunch.  We currently use an Auto Attendant that is active from 8:00-5:00 each day. What is the best way to have a different Auto Attendant (or greeting) answer calls during the hour that the office is closed for lunch? I've looked through some of the documents/manuals, but didn't see anything specifically related to this type of configuration.  Thanks for any help you can provide.

You can have your AA go to the Out Of Office (after hours) message during lunch. Or.. you can set up Call Forward Selective and have a special Lunch time message (aka a VM Message only box) that would kick in for your lunch period. The Care Team at 877 761 7401 should be able to get this set up for you.

There is actually an easier way to do this. You can set up a button  on your phone (say you are the receptionist) and when you need to take lunch, you can simply press a button (pre programmed with #51) this will ask you for the HG or Extension to enter. It could be your AA or a VM.  Then when you return from lunch, you simply press the pregrammed button that say perhaps Unbusy. that is #52. You might need to call Care to make sure the HG assigned to the receptioinist phone is set up for the "make busy" function. It works great.

Some people also refer to it like a NightMode button.  Program one button to say :"make busy" and the other "unbusy" or whatever works for you.
