Apple AirPods and VoiceEdge Soft Phone
Is there any reason why 1st generation Apple AirPods would not work with the VoiceEdge software on a PC? The AirPods are paired correctly. They work with every other application we've tried on the PC. The microphone works with other applications as well.
They don't seem to work at all with the VoiceEdge soft phone, though. We've tried choosing from the list of Preferred devices in Settings|Audio. None of them work. We've also tried selecting them while on a call by choosing the Bluetooth button and bringing up the list that way.
Surface EarBuds worked fine on the same PC. The user just didn't like they way they fit in her ear, so we tried the AirPods, this morning. We removed the Surface EarBuds and charging case from the list of Bluetooth devices in Windows in case there might be a conflict.
We've rebooted and made sure all updates, including firmware updates on the PC, have run.
I don't know what else to try.
