Voicemail -"The mailbox number that you are trying to reach is not in servce."

I am having an issue with my voicemail on my business mobile phone. When I call my voicemail, or when someone else calls and it goes to voicemail, the system message says "the mailbox number you are trying to reach is not in service, goodbye." and hangs up. Please help.  I've called customer service and had a ticket opened but I have not heard back.  They said to give it 24 hrs and it's been over a week.
