How do I select a specific phone number?

I own a business and would like a certain phone number.  I have searched this number and it is not in use currently and is open.  I tried with a different company and it was available for use, however, they did not extend service to my location (0.25 miles to far)!  I have had NO LUCK in searching this topic here yet. 

I just signed up for service via online ordering and scheduling, expecting choices of phone numbers to arise (to no avail)  most other companies offer this online or by phone......as long as the number is available!
