caller cannot hear outgoing message

those calling me cannot hear my machine message.  this is happening this week suddenly.  restarting modem does not help.

@user_daedc1  Hi! Were there any phone features changes or account changes recently? What happens when they call? It hangs up after it rings?

it rings and the caller hears nothing.  no features changed on phone or account.

It stays silent until they hang up?

Gotcha. Go ahead and send a direct message with your name, address, and phone number. We can do some troubleshooting. 

 

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Comcast Business" in the "To:" line and select "Comcast Business" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Comcast Business" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
