Any work around tips with outage?
Solutions please! Our service started working again temporarily around 4:00PM MST, but wouldn't let us forward phone lines even at that time. It then went out again a short time later (Salt Lake City, UT area). Are there any band-aids you can help with until it's working again? As one person mentioned, a different message that states the phone number is experiencing an outage as opposed to, "the number is disconnected." Will our online call logs eventually reflect missed calls so we can at least follow up with our pissed off customers or missed sales? Is there any way we can forward our business lines to cell phones during this outage? I saw the post about the forwarding when away from the office with no clarification. Is it being suggested that will work? Just recently switched from CenturyLink to Comcast and hadn't setup the remote forwarding feature yet and so can't right now. Has anyone been successful during this outage in forwarding their lines somehow? If I get a hold of the right person at Comcast, do they have the ability to forward? Or is the problem so far up the line that forwarding doesn't even work (even if it were forwarded before the problem began)?
