Horrible service and no one seems to have any clue

Comcast is a model of incompetence.

I was simply trying to switch a current voice line over to the VES system with Auto Attendant.

We explained in detail what we wanted for our business. One phone line with the auto attendant and 2 handsets. That's all, super simple.  The rep that spoke with us told us we could do that.

I could tell something was wrong when the installer came out and was very confused.

Comcast installed two new lines and did not switch my current lines over. No one knew anything about the auto attendant or the 2nd hand receiver. So I have 2 extra lines that don't even work.

Five phone calls later; the problem still exists. The last rep I spoke with, I again requested an additional hand set (2nd phone) and I was told that I have to add an additional phone line to have a 2nd receiver.

After being lied to over and over and then having additional fees tossed at me, I told your rep to cancel the install.

Yesterday I spoke to a rep to cancel the services. Today I get an email saying that everything is switched over, with a list of do it yourself problem solving. No my phones aren't working.

Now I have to resign a contract to get my phones fixed to how they were before. The rep needs me pay an installation fee which isn't going to happen. Comcast [Edited: "Language"] this up; they are going to cover any costs, not me! This will be my last contact with Comcast (your last chance). After this I will be filing complaints with everyone. The BBB, The FTC and the FCC.

Sadly there are some very smart networking guys at Comcast but they keep them locked up and away from us poor saps because they think we are stupid.
