In an effort to ensure the safety of our customers, the Comcast Security Assurance team is making outbound calls to Business Internet customers who may be impacted by a security risk associated with the Heartbleed Internet bug.  Those identified at risk all have customer owned and managed equipment.  Heartbleed creates vulnerability within certain versions of OpenSSL, an open source implementation of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and can allow hackers to access encrypted content, usernames, and passwords.

To date Comcast Business Internet (CBI) equipment has not been identified to be vulnerable to the bug.
