SMTP Email no longer working (2)

Also having issues with outgoing SMTP server.  Cannot connect to the following server:

 

$ telnet smtp.w14c.comcast.net 587
Trying 68.87.20.12...
Connected to smtp.w14c.comcast.net.
Escape character is '^]'.
554 comomta-ch2-01v.sys.comcast.net bizsmtp ESMTP server not available
Connection closed by foreign host.

 

Why was the original thread of this locked?  Please assist, as outgoing/external mail is not possible.

Hi Johnx and welcome to the business forums.

 

I can also reviewing your email issue as well. I'll need a private message with your full name, the full service address and the phone number associated with the account for authentication purposes please.

I just spent an hour with tech support.  had to bump to next level.  This is the responce from my local sendmail:

 My system is configured to (from my config file) as follows:

Same error here

I have on smtp : smtp.businessclass.comcast.net:587

the problem is on the smtp not on the account, can't connect on smtp
